If you’re looking for an intense cardio workout that doesn’t involve being on a treadmill or spinning bike, Extreme Couture might be just the place to take your fitness routine to the next level. The massive 33,000 square foot space in Etobicoke is the largest MMA training facility in Canada and also offers classes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, boxing, muay Thai and wrestling. A wide array of group fitness classes are also offered to keep things interesting, from yoga to Zumba to cycling and TRX.
StrengthBox prides itself on “not being an ordinary gym” so if you’re looking for something a little different this could be the place for you. The focus here is on moving and building strength and endurance in ways that will help you in your everyday life. You’ll be working out with weights and kettlebells, as well as a climbing wall, jungle gym and other strength-building and training equipment that goes beyond what you might find in a regular gym.
