The 2007 and 2009 WNBA Champion Phoenix Mercury basketball team will host the 2014 Boost Mobile WNBA All-Star Game in Phoenix, Arizona. This is the second time that Phoenix has hosted the WNBA All-Star Game. It was here in 2000, and more than 17,000 fans attended that game.

Where should I stay nearby?
The US Airways Center is within about 10 minutes from Sky Harbor International Airport. You can stay at a hotel near the airport, a hotel right in downtown Phoenix, some of which will be within walking distance from the US Airways Center, or in a central Phoenix hotel, just a few miles away. Downtown Scottsdale is only a 20-30 minute drive from downtown Phoenix. If drive time isn't an issue, and you want to stay in one of the area's luxury resorts, there are many to choose from.
Can I use public transportation?
When you purchase a ticket to an event at US Airways Center, you can ride METRO light rail at no additional cost for four hours prior to the start of the event, through the end of the transit day. Each person riding for free must have a ticket!
if you are staying outside of Phoenix, or not near METRO Light Rail, you might want to arrange for a rental car.

Tuesday, July 15: “All-Star Way” Street Sign Unveiling
Mercury President Jason Rowley, guard Diana Taurasi and City of Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton will host a special event to unveil “All-Star Way.” The new street sign will be placed at the intersection of 1st Street and Jefferson Street, facing west, and will be on display throughout the week. Location/Time: US Airways Center (SE corner of 1st Street and Jefferson Street) at 9 a.m.
Friday, July 18: WNBA East and West All-Star Open Practices
WNBA fans of all ages can get a sneak peek of the East and West WNBA All-Stars as they prepare for the big game during a pair of open and free-of-charge practices. The East All-Stars are scheduled for 3-3:45 p.m., while the West All-Stars are slated for 4:15-5 p.m. Location/Time: US Airways Center (SE corner of 1st Street and Jefferson Street) , 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday, July 18: All-Star Fan Fest
As host of Boost Mobile WNBA All-Star 2014, the Phoenix Mercury invites Valley residents and visitors to attend All-Star Fan Fest. Fans in attendance will enjoy appearances from Mercury and Suns entertainers, performances by live local bands, and special giveaways throughout the evening. The Fan Fest will feature family-friendly activities such as bounce houses, a sport court, and a Flow Rider, a large outdoor surfing wave. The event is free and open to the public. Location/Time: CityScape (Central Ave.), 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
