You'll choose the Palazzo Las Vegas because it has a hint of luxury wrapped around a tremendous amount of style and allure. You'll be excited about the marble floors and the bright skylights as well as the decor in the common areas. The restaurants will impress you and the spa will relax you. The rooms though, they will get you to come back.
What to Expect at Palazzo Las Vegas
The Palazzo Las Vegas is a high-end version of the Venetian. How can that be? It looks nicer than the Venetian and that would be hard to do, but it has been done. The hotel is spacious and the ability to walk through to the Venetian makes this property feel massive while retaining a tiny bit of a boutique feel.
At 50 stories high, the Palazzo Las Vegas is the tallest hotel in Las Vegas, 3066 suites, 105,000 square feet of gambling space, over 60 shops, Barneys, LAVO and 15 fine dining restaurants. That alone is a resort, add in the convenience of its proximity to its sister resort the Venetian and it gets better. Also, let's not forget the four pools and nightlife options and you get the complete package.
What You Might Like
The hotel feels like money and you feel better just walking around the property. Everything about the Palazzo is a step above what you normally find on the Las Vegas strip. Go with the Prestige at The Palazzo for the extra step up in the luxury category. If you like personal service they know how to do it right.
What You Might Not Like
If you are trying to keep the budget together while at Palazzo Las Vegas it might be difficult. To keep cost down you have to seek out affordable food such as I Love Burgers and the Food Court at The Venetian. For a deal, check the restaurants for Happy Hour specials and seek out cheap meals at other strip properties. It can get a little expensive but you will be getting a higher quality product for the extra cash.
Our Suggestion While at the Palazzo Las Vegas
Choose the Prestige Level because you get breakfast and drinks included in your stay in a lounge that is right for mingling. Steak at Carnevino and a game at Lagasse's Stadium. You could also get a massage, hit the pool and then get ready for a night at TAO. Need a fairly reasonable meal, hit the Grand Lux Café.
3066, all suites, flat screens in both the living rooms and the bedrooms and my favorite, the flat screen in the restroom. Wireless internet access and a desk in case you get the crazy idea that you need to work. The rooms are exactly what you would expect from a high-end hotel. The Prestige at The Palazzo is an added benefit that gives you some extras for an added cost that is defrayed in the form of continental breakfast and a decent cocktail hour.
