This local teahouse has been serving traditional English tea service for 20 years and has two locations in Silicon Valley. They have daily tea service and have room to host tea parties and special events with service for up to 25 guests. Gluten-free options are available, call in advance. Open daily with fixed tea service times on Saturday and Sundays.

Filoli Gardens

86 Canada Road, Woodside

This historic garden and estate hosts a traditional afternoon tea service seasonally -- Spring, Mother's Day, Summer, and Fall. The tea is served by estate volunteers. Tickets: $65 for members, $75 for nonmembers. Private tables are also available. The price includes admission to the house and grounds. Seating is limited. This small teahouse offers a variety of traditional tea service in the modern feel of a Palo Alto coffee shop. The tea shop sells high-quality loose leaf teas from around the world and offers tea tasting classes and workshops throughout the year.

Tyme for Tea, & Co.

37501 Niles Blvd, Fremont

This English tea house and gift shop hosts daily tea service and does special events. The shop offers guests fancy hats to wear during the tea. The shop is located in the heart of downtown Niles, a historic railroad town on the east side of Fremont.
