Where: RiverChase Recreation Center, 990 Horan Drive
RiverChase hosts a trunk or treat event that also includes music, food and a costume contest. Call (636) 343-0067 to sign up your vehicle.

When: Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: Westport Plaza, 111 Westport Plaza
Kids are invited to join a Halloween parade through the plaza, collecting treats from stores and restaurants as they go. The parade begins promptly at 6 p.m., next to Hickey College at the back of the plaza. Call (314) 738-2599 to reserve a spot in the parade.

When: Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: Downtown Kirkwood, Kirkwood Road, Argonne Drive and Jefferson Street
Nearly two dozen businesses will be handing out candy the Thursday before Halloween. The Kirkwood Greentree Church is also giving out free hotdogs and candy during its Harvest Party from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The church is located at 100 Kirkwood Place.

Bass Pro Shops, St. Charles
When: Sunday, October 30, 2016 - 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday, October 31, 2016 - 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: Bass Pro Shops, 1365 South 5th Street
Kids can trick or treat through the store on Friday and Saturday night. There's also pumpkin decorating, pictures in the pumpkin patch and a costume parade.

Southampton Neighborhood, South St. Louis
When: Monday, October 31, 2016 - 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Where: 5300 Block of Nottingham Avenue
Residents in the Southampton neighborhood in South St. Louis throw a Halloween Party each year. They decorate their homes and pass out candy to thousands who walk through the neighborhood on Halloween night.
