With a great pool, modern rooms, and a subtle feeling of luxury in an all-encompassing resort, the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino has so much to offer. When you look for a Las Vegas hotel that covers all of the bases, it is hard to look past the Mandalay Bay Resort. The proximity to the MGM Grand, Luxor, and the Park Las Vegas make it convenient but what is happening at the resort will keep you from leaving. Plenty of food options to go along with shopping and entertainment will keep you very busy.

If you toss in the extras at Delano Hotel, you get two hotels for the price of one.

What to Do

You can grab a cocktail, watch a game, or just relax. This is a full-service resort so make it a spa day or a sports book day or even a long day at the poker tables at Mandalay Bay.

Other fun activities and shows to check out include:

  • Shark Reef Aquarium: Take a walk through an underwater world of apex predators and fascinating marine life. This is good for both kids and adults.
  • Michael Jackson ONE: You don't need to be a fan to enjoy this show of familiar music and daring performers.
  • Eyecandy Sound Lounge: This is not your ordinary casino bar. Interact, mingle, and make a night of it.

What to See

How can you not talk about the giant wave pool and the lazy river at the Beach at Mandalay Bay? It is iconic and you have to plan for at least a few hours of getting some sun. However, shopping at Mandalay Place is an event and cocktails at Franklin at Delano are also can't miss opportunities for fun. You must see the views from Skyfall Lounge high atop Delano Las Vegas as well.

Where to Eat

The food options are endless from casual sushi at Kumi Japanese Restaurant to Burger Bar and Slice of Vegas. The food court near the convention space offers quick convenient food while restaurants such as Red Square and RM Seafood give you a bit more of an upscale take on casual. The Four Seasons next door makes things very luxurious for dinner and you can slow it down and get very casual at Luxor and Excalibur.
