On Wednesday evenings for about six weeks in the fall and again in the spring, classic cars and hot rods are the attraction at Westgate Hot Rod Night. Cars from the '80s and older park in WaterDance Plaza. Cars from the '90s and newer park on Westgate Boulevard near Fountain Park. More than 200 classic cars are usually on display. Enjoy live music and take advantage of the specials at the restaurants, bars and other businesses there.

Where: Map and directions to Westgate Entertainment District in Glendale. Classic car show along Coyotes Blvd., entertainment at WaterDance Plaza. On the nights when there is an event going on at Gila River Arena, this event moves to Fountain Park by the AMC movies.

Dates: In 2017 - Every Wednesday

Spring Dates: February 1 through May 3
Fall Dates: September 6 through November 15

Time: 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Cost: Nothing. Admission is free.

Westgate Entertainment District (formerly known as Westgate City Center) played a major role in turning Glendale, Arizona into a sports and entertainment destination. Gila River Arena (formerly known as Jobing.com Arena), University of Phoenix Stadium and Camelback Ranch-Glendale baseball stadium are all nearby, allowing Westgate to complement the activities at those venues all year long with bars, restaurants, movie theaters and more.

Outdoor musical entertainment, tailgate parties, outdoor movies, holiday activities and even a pop-jet fountain for summertime water fun are just some of the free activities that draw people of all ages to this location. WaterDance Plaza is the usual meeting place for community events.
