Huntsville Facilities for Rent

Whether it's your wedding, a special birthday or anniversary dinner or a monthly club meeting, finding the perfect place to host these events can be daunting. Here are a few suggestions for places in Huntsville that rent out their facilities. The prices below are from May 2005; please call to confirm all information. I'll be adding to this list as I have time and find more information.

Annabella at Cedar Glen

Specializes in outdoor weddings and receptions and can accommodate up to 200 guests for an indoor ceremony while providing a southern plantation style atmosphere. Outdoor garden patio and three gazebos plus a small chapel. Price of rental depends on the day and time of the week with weekday and weekend weddings and receptions available.

The museum's rental coordinator will arrange a tailor-made cocktail or dinner party especially for you. They can do all the work - arrange for the caterer, bar service, flowers, and musical entertainment, all according to your selections.
Facilities to choose from include: Burritt Mansion ( The maximum number of guests is 75 for cocktail parties and 40 for dinner parties. The basic fee is $1,800 which includes a $1,000 tax deductible donation to the museum ), Gazebo & Patio area, Old Madison Baptist Church (12 pews that seat approx. 50 adults--36-100 capacity for parties), and the Trillium Room (45-150 capacity).

The facility has been transformed into a modern building while holding its "old world" charm.

Several small study rooms are available free of charge.

Must reserve one month in advance.
Larger meeting rooms also available. Check with library staff. Meeting rooms A and B are separated by an accordion divider and can be easily merged into one expanded room. The fee for using the expanded room is $10 for the first hour and $5 for each succeeding hour or portion of an hour. A dry erase board is in the room, but you have to bring your own markers. The expanded room seats up to 30 people or so. The audio-visual equipment they have is available for rent at $10 per item per use and is older vintage (slide projector, overhead projector, TV and VCR). The same main library branch has an auditorium available for rent.. Some Huntsville library branches (e.g., Eleanor E. Murphy branch on Charlotte Drive) offer meeting rooms under similar terms.
