Started by Tim Zagat and Joe Baum, founders of the Zagat restaurant guides, restaurant weeks provide guests a chance to dine at some of the most popular and highly regarded restaurants across the country at a significantly reduced price.
What was once confined to a single week at select restaurants in New York City, restaurant weeks have become an annual tradition in most major cities, as well as the surrounding areas, including the Washington D.C. area.
So, if you are fixing for a prix-fixe menu at one of the District's hot spots, check out the restaurant weeks in the city, as well as Maryland, and northern Virginia.
