Celebrate the Christmas Season at Warm Beach Camp

The Lights of Christmas at Warm Beach Camp is an annual holiday event that features more than one million Christmas lights displayed on more than 15 acres of gorgeous waterfront campgrounds. Warm Beach Camp is located just one hour north of Seattle in Stanwood, Washington, and serves not only as a year-round campground but also as a conference center and retreat facility.

The Lights of Christmas is the largest holiday light display in the Northwest, with seven different light display areas, each with a different theme honoring the holiday season. The event combines live entertainment, holiday shops organized by local artists, children's activities, and so much more. There are also a large number of on-site food concessions that offer a variety of hot drinks, snacks, sweet treats, and dinners waiting to be devoured by the warming fires. No matter how you choose to participate, the event is a wonderful holiday tradition that everyone in the family can enjoy.

Live Entertainment

Take a break from strolling the colorful light display to enjoy musical performances by local musicians and theater groups, performed nightly. There are a variety of different stages and performance spaces throughout the grounds, and each performance throughout the season has a holiday theme.

By making a reservation at the Holiday Dinner Theatre, you can enjoy live music and comedy performances along with a fabulous meal. If you're bringing the kids along, the Sunday dessert matinees are also a great option that won't interfere with early bedtimes.

Children's Activities

There are plenty of fun and unique activities designed for the little ones that will make your child's experience extra memorable. While the activities are always changing year to year, you can expect to find meet and greets with Bruce the Spruce (the famous talking Christmas tree), daily rides around the campground on the famous the Polar Express train, pony rides, and more.

Among the most popular activities is the living nativity scene, where children are given the rare experience of seeing the iconic animals come to life, and they are even allowed to pet them. Another great activity is within the Joyland Toy Shop, where kids are encouraged to become elves for a day and create a custom, hand-made toy.

Make It an Overnight Getaway

Families, couples, and larger groups who wish to extend their fun can turn the Lights of Christmas visit into a full weekend getaway. The accommodations at Warm Beach Camp include holiday-themed rooms in the Deer Mountain Lodge, Bayside Inn, as well as festive cabins and bunkhouses, such as the Nutcracker Suite and Kringle Kottage. Most packages also include a hot buffet breakfast, as well as nightly festival admission. By making a mid-holiday getaway, you and your family will have a holiday season that you'll never forget.
