Experience

Vivian has been a freelance writer since 2018 and focuses on travel, outdoor adventure, and mental health, especially where those verticals intersect. Since she began writing, she’s contributed to a number of publications, including Fodor’s Travel, Culture Trip, Refinery29, Eater, and beyond.

She's a curious wanderer with a thirst for adventure, and when she’s not writing, she can likely be found lazing by a lake or hiking the forested trails of beautiful British Columbia. She’s perpetually scheming her next getaway, and her travels have taken her to the villages of Nepal, national parks across Canada and America, as well as the bustling souks of Morocco. She’s camped in the Wadi Rum, hiked an active volcano in Guatemala, and walked the 7,000-foot high plank walk on the side of Mount Huashan in China.

Education

Vivian graduated from the University of British Columbia with a bachelor's degree in food science.
