Chef Kevin Bladergroen travelled the world learning the art of cooking with some of the best known chefs. His small, neighborhood bistro in Placitas is one of the most romantic restaurants in the area. Make a reservation for their Valentine's dinner early; they book fast.
The Cooperage has a special Valentine's deal that includes a petite NY steak with Cajun shrimp, with the salad and soup bar for $30. The special runs February 13 through February 14 for lunch and dinner. Call (505) 255-1657 to reserve.
For Valentine's Day, the Inn offers a spectacular chance for romance. During Valentine's weekend, you can have a four-course prix fixe meal to celebrate the occasion. Call for reservations for Saturday, February 14. Tickets are $95 per person, and wine pairing or beer pairing tckets are also available for an additional charge. Dine by candlelight in the ballroom. Dinner will be prepared by executive chef Jonathan Perno, with fresh, local ingredients. Guests who arrive early can order drinks and hors d'oeuvres in the Library.
Take your valentine to MAS for a romantic three course dinner. Start with a MAS Caesar salad, Spanish potatoes au gratin and green beans. Entree choices are pecan bacon wrapped steak, seasonal vegetable strudel or grilled salmon and octopus. For dessert, there will be assorted chocolate truffles and butterscotch cotton candy prosecco.

The romantic restaurant located on Santa Ana will have seating on February 14 from 5 to 9 p.m. Valentine specials will also be available February 12 and 13. Start with cucumber pico de gallo, follwed by a first course of fried oysters or baked duck confit roll. Choose from soup or salad, followed by the main course of either truffle stuffed quail, seared sea scallops or grilled dry aged New York strip. Dessert is a dark chocolate or red velvet cake. Pueblo Harvest Cafe
The Pueblo Harvest Cafe is centrally located and inside the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center. They're offering a special Valentine's menu February 13 and 14, with a four course menu that takes you through the stages of love. Reserve a seat by calling (505) 724-3510 or get your tickets online.

St. Clair will have a special Cork & Candle event on Sunday, February 14. The Valentine's celebration will feature a four course meal and champagne toast. Appetizers include jalapeno bacon-wrapped shrimp or blackened ahi tuna, followed by soup or salad. Entrees include your choice of prime rib, sous vide chicken, osso buco, black cod topped with shrimp scampi. Dessert is a choice of raspberry white chocolate cheesecake or chocolate toffee Kahlua cake.
On Friday, February 13 and Saturday, February 14, have a special tea at the St. James Tearoom. The three course meal is served in the afternoon tea tradition.
