UniverSoul Circus will return to the Washington DC area this at a new location near FedEx Field. The unique brand of family friendly entertainment features a multicultural, multinational, blend of music, theater and circus arts under the big top. Circus goers will be treated to some of the most breath-taking and sought-after circus acts from around the world. As has become customary throughout its history, UniverSoul Circus has circled the globe to find the best and most unique talent to showcase under the big top.

Leading the charge this year is Ringmaster Lucky Malatsi of South Africa, a multitalented entertainer who brings his unbridled energy to center ring. Lucky, 27, has been with UniverSoul Circus in a wide range of capacities during his 15 years with the company – from Contortionist and Hip Hop Dancer to Trapeze Artist. Lucky has done it all and travels with his wife and two young kids where they make their home on the circus’ backlot.

Also appearing at UniverSoul, the Xtreme Bikes from Chicago and upstate New York will get your adrenaline pumping through the roof with crazy Freestyle Motocross stunts that will blow your mind. And returning after a few years away from the big top are the Bone Breaking Contortionists from Guinea. Families will witness an amazing array of international human and animal talent including Roller Skaters (Ethiopia), Elephants (USA), Teeter Board & Hand Vaulting (Gabon, Guinea, Ethiopia), Mixed Animal Act (Mexico) featuring Zebras and Camels, Aerial Silks (China), Horses (Gabon, Guinea, Russia), and perennial favorites Caribbean Dancers (Trinidad and Tobago).

The circus was founded in 1994 in Atlanta by concert and theatre promoter, Cedric Walker.
