Tysons, Virginia is home to Tysons Corner Center and Tysons Galleria - the largest premier shopping malls on the East Coast (also the largest retail destinations in the Washington, DC area). Together the two malls offer endless opportunities to shop, dine and enjoy a wide range of entertainment. In 2014, the Washington Metro expanded its service area and opened the Silver Line providing public transportation between Tysons and Washington DC. This shopping mecca is easy to get to from around the region and offers a wide array of amenities.
Tysons Corner Center
With more than 290 stores, you’ll find a great selection of merchandise at Tyson's Corner Center including everything from high fashion apparel to home furnishings. Anchor stores include Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, Lord & Taylor, L.L.Bean, and AMC 16 Theatres. There is a huge food court and several restaurants including California Pizza Kitchen, The Capital Grille, Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant, Silver Diner and T. G. I. Fridays. When the Metro Silver Line opened a new plaza was build to connect to the station and create a lively walkway and venue for community events such as concerts and children’s activities. An outdoor ice skating rink is open November to March, weather permitting.

Tysons Corner Center is located just off of I-495 near the intersection of Routes 7 and 123. The mall has plenty of parking spaces. The Metro Silver Line provides direct access to the mall.

Tysons Galleria is Washington D.C.'s most upscale shopping mall with anchor stores including Macy’s, Neiman Marcus, and Saks Fifth Avenue. Tysons Galleria has all the top brands with more than 120 retailers, such as Burberry, Cartier, Chanel, Versace, Lilly Pulitzer, Eileen Fisher, Tory Burch, Ann Taylor, Coach, J. Crew, and Anthropologie. Restaurants include the Corner Bakery, P. F. Changs China Bistro, the Cheesecake Factory, Maggiano’s Little Italy, and Lebanese Tavern.

Tysons Corner Center is the older and larger of the two malls.
