Valentine's Day is always on February 14. In 2017, Valentine's Day takes place on a Tuesday, the day after the Family Day long weekend. If you're looking for something to do to celebrate Valentine's Day this year, there are lots of options in the city. Here are some of the best things to do on or around February 14 in Toronto this year.

The Erotic Arts and Crafts Fair

Head to the Gladstone Hotel to peruse art, accessories, and more by local and international crafters and artists.

Love at the Zoo

You might not associate the Toronto Zoo with romance, but animal-loving couples can enjoy an evening at the zoo to celebrate Valentine's Day. The event includes a romantic dinner, a special animal encounter, an interactive group presentation and you'll also get to take a peek at the future Reproductive Labs led by the Zoo's Reproductive Specialist Team

When: Saturday February 11 & Tuesday February 146:30 to 9 p.m.

Skin Tight Outta Sight and Boylesque TO: Voulez-Vous Valentine

Revival Night Club will be home to a fun and frisky Valentine's Day performance courtesy of Skin Tight Outta Sight and Boylesque TO. Expect a Parisian theme for this year's show - it is the City of Love, after all.

When: Friday, February 12th & Sunday, February 14th, 7:45 p.m.

Valentine's Day Dinner Dance

Celebrate Valentine's Day with a romantic dinner at the historic Old Mill.

And this won't just be any dinner. Couples will also get to enjoy live music courtesy of award-winning Elvis impersonator, Matt Cage. The Toronto-born performer will be playing some of the King's best music so be prepared to do some dancing.

Art + Wine With Your Valentine

Feeling creative? Paint Lounge is hosting an event wherein couples can do some painting together. The package includes two 16x20 canvases for freestyle painting, all of the supplies you'll  need to create your masterpiece and two drinks. You can choose from red or white wine, beer, hot loose-leaf tea or an americano.

Leonard Cohen Valentine's Day Tribute

Bampot will be hosting a tribute to the late, great Leonard Cohen on Valentine's Day. There will be an interactive projection instillation featuring interview and media clips of Leonard Cohen, followed by performances and poetry readings from local Toronto artists. Bampot will be providing complementary tea, but there will be other food and drinks available for purchase.

When: Tuesday, February 14, 6:30 to 10 p.m.

Blossom and Bloom

Spend some time browsing your way through Blossom and Bloom, a pop-up market taking place at Union Station. The market will be taking place over four days, between February 11 and 14 and feature 20 local vendors each day. The unique event will be home to art installations, floral-focused designers, craft workshops, musicians and more.

When: February 11 and 12 (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) & February 13 and 14 (8 a.m. to 8 p.m.)
