Top Hotels With a View in San Francisco

In a city known for its beauty, you'd expect to find some nice hotels with excellent views, and San Francisco doesn't disappoint.

Unfortunately, it can be hard to tell from hotel listings and booking sites which ones actually have a good view. But you're in luck. I've stayed in many of San Francisco's hotels in my job as a California travel expert, and I know which ones have the best views.

I picked the best of the best for you, with great views and outstanding customer service. And when I say views, I don't just mean a peek at the corner of the Transamerica Building from down an alley. While every room in each of these hotels may not have eye-popping views, many of them will.

Find out how I choose my recommended hotels and you can get more guidance for finding San Francisco hotels in this helpful guide.
