The city of Yukon features a couple of options for museum lovers. Yukon's Best Railroad Museum (3rd and Main) features vintage train cars while the Yukon Farm Museum (3rd and Cedar) has historic tractors and equipment. Also, check out the Yukon Historical Society Museum and Art Center (601 Oak Street). It features a replica of businesses on Main Street and a complete history of the town as well as performances by the Stage Door Theatre group.

Czech Hall

Did you know that Yukon is the Czech capital of Oklahoma? The annual Oklahoma Czech Festival is held on the first Saturday of October in which Czech Hall pays tribute to early Yukon settlers. Every other day of the year, Czech Hall, built in 1901, is a social center and meeting place. It hosts everything from lodge meetings and parties to Czech plays, Czech language classes, and polka dances.

Historic Downtown

The city of Yukon began in the late 1800s and has plenty to offer in historic areas. Located along the iconic Route 66, downtown Yukon is home to a number of shops and restaurants. It also features the historic homes of the original town founders.

Kirkpatrick Family Farm

Kirkpatrick Family Farm is a 33-acre estate that opened in the early 1900s. It hosts numerous community events throughout the year, such as the Easter celebration and the Chisholm Trail Crawfish Festival, and is a fun place for families.

Chisholm Trail Park

Of the many Yukon-area city parks, Chisholm Trail might be the highlight. In addition to being one of the best places to walk and run in the metro area, thanks to its well-decorated, boot-shaped path, Chisholm Trail Park is the site for annual favorites such as Yukon's Concerts in the Park series and the Freedom Fest July Fourth celebration. It also has several pavilions and a look-out peak.

Yukon BMX Raceway

Operated by the Yukon Parents and Riders Association, the Yukon BMX Raceway is located at Taylor Park Sports Complex on 11th Street. Spectators can watch any race for free, and first-time riders can try out the track for free as well. Even experienced riders can learn more about racing, and the BMX race season runs from January 1 to December 15 each year.

Express Clydesdales

Robert Funk Jr. bought eight rare Clydesdale horses in the mid-1990s and brought them to a ranch in Yukon, Oklahoma. They became quite popular, and now the ranch has 40 of the majestic creatures that appear at events across the nation, including the Oklahoma State Fair. Head four miles north of I-40 on Garth Brooks Boulevard in Yukon to visit the Express Clydesdales Barn. There's also a welcome center and gift shop.
