The Germantown Athletic Club (formerly known as the Germantown Centre) offers something for everyone. The facility boasts swimming pools, both indoors and out, fitness equipment, classes, and social events like parties, dances, and potlucks. The Germantown Athletic Club is located at 1801 Exeter Road.

You can shop 'til you drop at this upscale shopping center that really feels like an open-air mall. It boasts dozens of shops and restaurants including Anthropologie, The Apple Store, Madewell, Free People, J. Crew, Lucky Brand Jeans, Loft, and Vera Bradley.
There are also several places to eat, including Grimaldi's Pizza, Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill, and Sur La Table (scheduled to open in the summer of 2007).
It is located at Poplar Avenue and West Farmington.

Germantown Charity Horse Show
Each June, Germantown hosts a large equestrian competition for several days. Since 1948, the event has attracted professional and amateur equestrians to compete in multiple events like Paso Fino, Western, English, Walking Horses and more.
The Germantown Charity Horse Show has a fun, fair-like celebratory feel with families and groups decorating their boxes in the stands, plenty of delicious food vendors, and other festivities, like the Stick Horse Race for kids.
The event takes place on the Germantown Charity Horse Show Grounds on Poplar Pike.

Always the weekend after Labor Day, the annual Germantown Festival is a gathering of hundreds of arts, crafts, and food vendors, plus live entertainment, children's activities, and fun events like the Weenie Dog Race.
The Germantown Festival takes place at the Germantown Civic Center on Poplar Pike.
