Annapolis, the capital of Maryland, is one of the Washington, D.C., area cities hosting fun 2020 celebrations in honor of St. Patrick’s Day, including a parade with floats, various bands performing live music, a stroll through local pubs, lawn games, ping pong, and more. The Irish festivities will be held at a variety of locations in Annapolis on March 17 and other dates throughout the month.
Annapolis St. Patrick’s Day Parade
The eighth annual popular St. Patrick’s Day Parade is on March 8, 2020, at 1 p.m. in historic Annapolis. The parade route starts at Amos Garrett Boulevard (or a designated side-street), turns right onto West Street, heads clockwise around Church Circle and goes on Main Street toward Randall/Compromise Circle, where it goes clockwise, exiting the traffic circle via Randall Street.
