The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Favorite Spots in the City
Is the Bravo television series “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” (RHOA) one of your guilty pleasures? It’s okay, you can admit it. For those who aren’t in the know, RHOA has been entertaining audiences since 2008, filming the personal and professional lives of five women in Atlanta. The cast of players has changed throughout its eight seasons, but currently stars Kandi Burruss, Cynthia Bailey, Phaedra Parks, Kenya Moore, Porsha Williams, and Kim Fields.
One of the qualifiers of a RHOA is an extravagant lifestyle – fancy outings, parties and over-the-top shopping are a guarantee. Whether it’s for a ladies lunch or evening soiree, these gals can be trusted to gallivant around the city in style. All with a side of drama!
If you’ve ever wanted to play a RHOA for a day, here’s your chance. These are the places the Real Housewives of Atlanta love to visit on the show.Continue to 2 of 11 below.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta at 10th and Piedmont
10th and Piedmont
The group headed to this midtown classic for a girls’ lunch out in Episode 11 of Season 6. While ordering among classic tapas like patatas bravas (fried potatoes with lime aioli) and tomato pan (bread smothered in roasted tomato), local Atlanta icon Baton Bob just happened to stop by. The Real Housewives of Atlanta at Cypress Street Pint and Plate
Cypress Street Pint and Plate
Nene Lekes and Phaedra Parks met up with an old high school classmate, Chuck Smith, for an impromptu dinner in Episode 10 of Season 6. Both were nervous that it might have been because of some drama that recently went down on a trip to Savannah. Turns out, though, he was just inviting them to speak to the Boys and Girls Club of Athens – phew! They got their night started by ordering the fried truffle mushrooms and celebrating their upcoming trip to Athens with “Sex on the Beach” shots.Continue to 4 of 11 below.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta at Fritti
In Episode 5 of Season 5, the ladies dined at Fritti to discuss some last minute details for their upcoming couple’s trip to Anguilla. Sounds like fun, but in typical RHOA fashion, drama was around the corner. Turns out, after planning the trip around Kim Zolciak’s pregnancy, she was bailing. Things escalated, resulting in her storming off the show for good and her husband almost getting in a fight with the camera man. Most Fritti diners, though, would be too distracted by the deliciousness to let that happen, thankfully. This Inman Park gem serves up Neopolitan pizza, and it’s even certified by the Pizza Neopoletana Association which ensures that the pizza is held to certain standards, like double zero flour and a 1000 degree wood burning oven. There are 28 different pizzas to choose from.Continue to 5 of 11 below.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta at Mary Mac’s Tea Room
In Episode 5 of Season 7, Kandi Burruss met up with her aunts (lovingly referred to as the Old Lady Gang) at Mary Mac’s Team Room. And it’s no wonder why – Mary Mac’s has been serving classic southern cooking in Atlanta for over 70 years and considered one of the most reliable spots for our hometown cuisine. So reliable that in 2011 the Georgia House of Representatives declared Mary Mac’s “Atlanta’s Dining Room.” This restaurant is quite popular, so if you roll deep take note: reservations can only be made for groups larger than eight, Monday through Thursday. All others can expect a wait, but it’s worth it.Continue to 6 of 11 below.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta at Wisteria
The girls met up at this Inman Park gem to make amends over a drink during Episode 8 of Season 7. The amends weren’t all that convincing, but that’s how it goes in RHOA Land! There’s more to try than just drinks at Wisteria. The setting is perfect for a date night out with its dim lighting and cozy confines kept fun with eclectic art on the walls. The menu is simple and fresh placing a strong emphasis on the locally sourced ingredients.Continue to 7 of 11 below.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta at Murphy’s
Cynthia Bailey and Nene Leakes met up at Murphy’s in Season 5 Episode 19 for a wine tasting. They heard that red wine helps with weight loss so that was the drink of choice for the evening. They also chatted about boy stuff, like how happy Nene seems now that she’s back with her ex-husband, Gregg. Murphy’s is an Atlanta staple having served the Virginia Highland community for over 30 years. In the front of the restaurant, you’ll find a wine shop and bar with 350 wines in stock from all over the world. If you liked a wine that you tried during dinner, you can buy it in the shop and take it home with you. Murphy’s is incredibly popular for brunch, but note that they only take reservations for dinner.Continue to 8 of 11 below.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta at Junkman’s Daughter
Where do you shop for a sexy outfit to impress your man over FaceTime? Well, if you’re Porsha Williams, you go to Junkman’s Daughter, an alternative clothing apparel store (although, in Porsha’s case it’s more like ex-man, and well, it’s complicated). In Episode 4 of Season 8 Porsha and her shopping buddy, Phaedra Parks, perused the unique items and giggled as they tried on some of the skimpier clothes (i.e. bedazzled bras). Head to the large and unique shop found in Little Five Points and you will find anything from short, plaid skirts (like Porsha) or other unusual clothing, accessories (spiky thigh-high boots anyone?) and home items. The shop opened in 1982 when the actual daughter of an actual junkman, Pam Majors, rented the 1,000 square foot shop and filled it with odds and ends from her parents’ collections. Now, 34 years later, the shop is beloved by Atlantans and celebs alike (in addition to the RHOA ladies, Bono and Steven Tyler have been known to visit) for... its quirkiness and abundance of cool items.Continue to 9 of 11 below.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta at Imperial Fez
If an exotic, Moroccan restaurant with belly dancing as entertainment screams “girls’ night out” to you, the RHOA ladies agree – that’s what they did in Episode 13 of Season 5. Munching on Middle Eastern delights like stuffed grape leaves, they gossiped about Kenya and Phaedra’s fight while belly dancers shimmied with candles on their heads. Imperial Fez is an “event dining” space – don’t go expecting to pop in and out for a quick dinner. The five course menu takes two and a half hours.Continue to 10 of 11 below.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta at Southern Art Bourbon Bar
This is the place where Nene Leakes took Porsha Williams for a post-divorce pick-me-up in Episode 1 of Season 6. Located in the lobby of the Intercontinental in Buckhead, Southern Art is helmed by Chef Art Smith, cookbook author and former chef to the stars. The bourbon bar includes seasonal cocktails like the “Horse’s Neck” with whiskey, lime juice, simple syrup and ginger beer – but there’s also over 70 bourbons to choose from if you prefer your whiskey straight.Continue to 11 of 11 below.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta at Einstein’s
The site of a couple reconciliations and fights, the ladies visited Einstein’s a couple times during Season 7. The quintessential midtown spot, Einstein’s opened its doors in 1991 and serves brunch, lunch and dinner. It’s especially popular on sunny days, with a large patio space and dog friendly attitude. The cuisine is American, and popular dishes include the “spicy crab omelet,” “house-made potato chips with blue cheese and chives,” and the “chipotle salmon with adobo mashed potatoes. 10th and Piedmont also offers a full bar. Don’t skip the after dinner drinks, like the “Raspberry Truffle” with Chambord, Tia Maria, Cointreau, cream and topped off with chocolate curls.
