The Ellie and Michael Ziegler Fiesta Bowl Center and Museum opened in Scottsdale in October 2006. Ellie and Michael Ziegler are longtime civic leaders and philanthropists. They have been Fiesta Bowl volunteers for many years.

You'll find the Fiesta Bowl Museum in the lobby of the building that also houses the headquarters of the Fiesta Bowl. The museum is divided into four parts: the game, the volunteers, the pregame festival of events and college football’s history.

Incorporated in the displays are various trophies, including the Fiesta Bowl, Cactus Bowl (formerly known as the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl and the Insight Bowl), BCS National Championship, Heisman and Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year awards.

At the museum you can watch excerpts of past games and Fiesta Bowl Parades. Exhibits include all 120 Division 1-A football helmets, the history of the Fiesta Bowl and Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl, the history of the Fiesta Bowl organization and its volunteers, the history of the Fiesta Bowl Festival of College Football, and the history of college football.

The Fiesta Bowl Museum is owned by the City of Scottsdale. Even though the actual football game is played in Glendale, Arizona at University of Phoenix Stadium, Scottsdale is an active partner with the Fiesta Bowl. Aside from the office and the museum being located in Scottsdale, the city also often hosts participating teams and other groups at local resorts.

The economic impact of bowl games on the Valley of the Sun is estimated to be more than $165 million each year.
