With a throwback beach vibe and casual, family-friendly setting, Virginia Beach remains an iconic East Coast vacation destination. In addition to the miles of beautiful beaches, visitors can stroll along the boardwalk, visit Neptune’s Park, stop by the Military Aviation Museum or visit the Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center. When it’s time to rest up, there are a number of hotels in the area with outstanding ocean views. However, you won’t find many boutique or luxury options in the area, so expect a number of family-friendly chain hotels just steps from the sand. Here are the best hotels in Virginia Beach.
