Entrees on the three- or six-course Thanksgiving menus at the award-winning Patina restaurant include a whole-roasted turkey or parsnip bottoni with pheasant consommé, Zamorano, and sunchokes. The six-course menu is $100, and the three-course menu is $70.

If you're looking for a high-quality take-out option for Thanksgiving, consider Akasha Bakery and Restaurant. Options include a herb-roasted turkey, or king oyster and hen-of-the-woods mushrooms for vegetarians. You can also opt for side dishes like roasted cauliflower bisque, chestnut and sage ciabatta stuffing, stuffed squash, yukon gold mashed potatoes, millikin yams, and green bean casserole. Circa 55 is serving up a Thanksgiving brunch from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Brunch combines a traditional breakfast menu of Florentine eggs benedict and "make your own" omelettes, with fresh seafood dishes, roasted turkey or ham, and sweet potato casserole with marshmallows and candied pecans. It costs $95 for adults and $38 for children.

Bourbon Steak Los Angeles, a modern-inspired steakhouse located at Americana at Brand, is offering guests a festive three-course Thanksgiving dinner menu for $85 per person. It features seasonal and inspired takes on the holiday classics. Start off the meal with heritage fall squash soup, seafood platter (oysters, king crab, and gulf prawn), or a kale and pomegranate salad with anjou pear, pecans, and smoky rogue blue cheese. Entrees include roasted heritage turkey with cranberry mostarda, short rib Wellington, lobster pot pie, Mediterranean branzino, and 35-day, dry-aged prime bone-in ribeye with charred baby leeks, bordelaise sauce, and smoked blue cheese crumbles. S'mores with graham cracker ice cream or pumpkin pie are the dessert choices.

This garden restaurant in Downtown LA is serving a traditional three- or four-course turkey dinner with artichoke soup; cauliflower and truffle orecchiette; smoked pork shoulder; sliced turkey breast; filet mignon au poivre; apple crumble; or pecan mousse. The three-course menu is $70, and the four-course menu is $90. Children's menu is $29 for those under 10 years old. The a la carte menu is also available.

Descanso Gardens is planning an outdoors Thanksgiving brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Buffet options include a herb-roasted heritage turkey; butternut squash and mushroom wellington; cast iron green bean casserole; baked mac and cheese; buttered sweet corn; maple-roasted root veggies; apple pie ravioli; and pumpkin cheesecake shooters. It costs $85 per adult and $45 per child.

Thanksgiving Lunch at the Aquarium of the Pacific
A three-course Thanksgiving lunch will be served at the Aquarium's Cafe Scuba, then you can spend the rest of the day visiting with the fish. The menu features Southern-style mac and cheese, thyme- and sage-roasted turkey, herb-crusted pork loin, and homemade fruit cobbler. It costs $60 for adults and $32.50 for kids ages 3 to 11 (the price includes Aquarium admission). There's a discount for Aquarium members.

The Laugh Factory in Hollywood provides a free Thanksgiving dinner and live comedy show every year to comedians, actors, writers and anyone else who is alone for the holidays including the neighborhood homeless population. Seatings are at 1, 3, 5 and 7 p.m. First come, first served. People line up early.
