The Best Restaurants for Dining Out in LA for Thanksgiving on Any Budget

If you're looking for someplace to dine out in Los Angeles for Thanksgiving, here are some great places for a memorable Thanksgiving dinner in and around LA and Orange County for every budget, whether you're with your family, or on your own. These restaurants all have traditional turkey dinner on the menu for Thanksgiving. Many have other choices as well. They are listed from the highest to the lowest price, excluding tax, tip, and most beverages.

This classic hotel is offering a Thanksgiving champagne brunch buffet accompanied by live entertainment in The Ballroom. Reservations noon to 4 pm, $108 per adult, $54 children under 12. There's also a three-course Thanksgiving dinner with live entertainment at The Terrace for $68 per adult, $34 per child under 12, and another three-course dinner option from 4 to 9 pm in the award-winning Royce Wood-Fired Steakhouse for $125 without wine or $170 with wine, $55 children.​ For something different, The Terrace will also be serving a dim sum brunch on Thanksgiving from 10 am to 2 pm for $68 adult, $34 children.

The Terranea Resort has multiple options for Thanksgiving Dinner.

 The high-end mar'sel restaurant will be offering a four-course dinner from 11 am to 8 pm for $125, $55 children 5-10. There will be a brunch buffet with live entertainment in the Terranea Ballroom including Butternut Squash Bisque, Salt Wood Smoked Free Range Turkey, Giblet Gravy, Brown Butter Seared Rock Fish, Peppercorn-Crusted Prime Rib , salads, sides and desserts for adults and a special kids' buffet, $95 adults and $47 children 5-10.

 Nelson's will have an outdoor large blow-up TV projector to show Thanksgiving football games and a special Thanksgiving menu that includes a gourmet hot turkey sandwich with pumpkin pie and sides for $26, from 11 am to 9 pm. bashi will be offering an Asian-inspired Thanksgiving turkey menu of stewed turkey leg adobo with sides in addition to the regular menu for $24.

1 Pico at Shutters on the Beach is offering a three-course prix fixe menu with entree options including free range turkey, beef short ribs,roasted Mediterranean branzino or pumpkin ravioli with multiple selections for starters and desserts for $95.  Coast Restaurant is offering a three-course turkey dinner with mashedsweet  potatoes, cranberries, Brussels sprouts, smoked bacon stuffing, a butternut squash soup starter and pecan pie for dessert for $48.

The many entree choices include roast turkey roulade stuffed with a spinach bread pudding and traditional sides; pan-seared scallops; grilled filet mignon with bleu cheese potatoes; roasted chicken breast with Brussel sprout ragout and country sage gravy, slow braised lamb shank, miso braised tofu and more. $65 adults, $45 kids under 12. 11:30 am, last seating 9:30 pm.

In addition to their regular menu, Nick & Stef's is adding a three-course Thanksgiving dinner with a choice of pasture-raised turkey with brioche stuffing, sweet potatoes and green beans or prime rib with mashed potatoes and creamed spinach asparagus. $65 per person from 3 to 9 pm.

Bourbon Steak Los Angeles, a modern-inspired steakhouse located at Americana At Brand is offering guests a festive three-course Thanksgiving dinner menu for  $65 (wine pairings available for an additional $35). It includes seasonal and inspired takes on the holiday classics. Entrees include braised Brandt short rib; Michael Mina's lobster pot pie; ribeye steak, an 8 ounce Angud filet or the requisite roasted heritage Turkey with sage stuffing. S'mores with graham cracker ice cream or huckleberry cheesecake are the dessert choices. Additional sides like Yukon Gold potatoes and gravy or Chef Kyle Johnson's broccoli casserole were inspired by traditional dishes enjoyed by the restaurant staff with their families. Descanso Gardens is planning a traditional Thanksgiving brunch with turkey, ham, lots of side options and three desserts catered by Patina Catering with seatings at 8:30, 11:30 and 1:30 for $69 adult, $28 children.  Additionally, Maple, a Patina restaurant at Descanso Gardens will be serving a three-course Thanksgiving Twilight Dinner from 4 to 7 pm for $55. Entree choices include a traditional turkey plate, osso bucco, grilled hangar steak or herb-crusted salmon. Special kids' options are also available.

Traditional holiday turkey and the trimmings will be the centerpiece of a buffet of over 100 entrees and side dishes with free-flowing champagne. The Reef is a waterfront restaurant next to the Queen Mary with a great view of the Long Beach skyline. 10 am to 5:30 pm, $52.95 adults, $21.95 for children 5-12. Knoll is not someplace you're likely to stumble upon by accident. First you have to find Le Parc Suite Hotel off the strip in West Hollywood, and know that this gem of a restaurant is nestled on the third floor. But it's worth the hunt. For Thanksgiving, the chef will be offering a prix fixe menu with a choice of roasted free-range turkey, grilled salmon, New York steak or honey-roasted ham, with a choice of appetizers and desserts. 11:30 am - last seating at 7:30 pm, $49 per person.

Seasons 52, the fresh grill and wine bar known for not having any plate with more than 475 calories, will be open on Thanksgiving Day, but breaking their 475 calorie rule. They will offer a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings, including roasted turkey, traditional herb stuffing, mashed potatoes, maple-glazed butternut squash, French green beans, house-made cranberry relish and their pumpkin lie mini indulgence for a very reasonable $27.90 per adult, $12.90 for kids. If you want to stick to your diet, the full autumn dinner menu will also be available.

If you prefer your turkey deli-style, Greenblatt's Deli in Hollywood (next to the Laugh Factory) keeps the full deli and restaurant open, serving the same traditional hot turkey dinners they serve all year long for $16.95. No reservation necessary. There's a parking lot in back.

The Laugh Factory in Hollywood provides a free Thanksgiving dinner and live comedy show every year to comedians, actors, writers and anyone else who is alone for the holidays including the neighborhood homeless population.
