Want to host friends and family for Thanksgiving but don't want to do the cooking? It is a common predicament. Thankfully, you can have Thanksgiving dinner at home and allow someone else to do the cooking and kitchen duties for you. That's right, these restaurants and businesses will make your Thanksgiving dinner...to go.

Kingsley
2701 Taylorsville Road
Louisville, KY
Kingsley Meat and Seafood has been a family owned and operated since 1971.

Known for their prime beef, fresh seafood, poultry, and a fully stocked deli, Kingsley also serves up special treats for the holidays. For Thanksgiving, customers can order turkey, green beans, mashed potatoes, corn pudding, sweet potato casserole, dinner rolls, and more. Kingsley's holiday menu states, "we do the cooking, you get the credit!"

Home Cuisine
(502) 896-0666
Chef Sandy Pike has owned and founded some of the city’s most beloved food establishments, from Jack Fry’s to Queen of Tarts. A few years ago, Sandy started cooking simple, healthy meals and dropping them off for clients. What started small is now Home Cuisine. The traditional Thanksgiving meal includes turkey, stuffing, potatoes, cranberry sauce, and a choice of two sides. Sides are brussels sprouts, sweet potato casserole, green beans, or carrots and beets with squash. They even have pies! Choose between pumpkin or pecan.

There is also a Paleo Thanksgiving dinner menu that is gluten free, call for details.

Whole Foods
4944 Shelbyville Road
Louisville, KY
The Whole Foods Market on Shelbyville offers a few different Thanksgiving options, from an organic turkey dinner to a suite side dishes. The usual suspects are on the menu: potatoes, root vegetables, squash, carrots, mac and cheese, green beans, and more.

The Village Anchor
11507 Park Rd
Anchorage, Kentucky 40223
Often cited as one of the best restaurants in Louisville (even though, technically, it is in Anchorage), The Village Anchor offers turkey take-out dinners for $25 per person, including turkey, cornbread stuffing, cranberry sauce, green bean casserole, garlic mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, dinner rolls, and pumpkin pie. All you need to serve up a traditional Thanksgiving meal, free of stress.

O'Charley's
962 Breckenridge Ln
1901 S Hurstbourne Pkwy
4801 Outer Loop
Louisville, KY
Maybe you have decided dinner will be a potluck, now all you need is pie. Take note: O'Charley's sells whole fresh pies; apple, pumpkin, peach, or pecan. Looking for more sweet treat options? Call one of these local Louisville bakeries.

Of course, Thanksgiving is a busy season for anyone in the food industry. If you are planning to order a Thanksgiving take-out dinner, get your order in as early as possible.

While it's great to have all of the options above, you may want to be entertained somewhere other than your own home. No problem, dine out for Thanksgiving!
