The unique tour company offers a zipline, ropes courses, a giant swing, and climbing tower plus custom tours, birthday parties, fundraising events, and team building experiences. Terrapin Adventures is set on approximately 2 acres on the grounds of Savage Mill, a historic 19th century textile mill that serves as a shopping venue featuring antique stores, home furnishing stores, craft galleries, specialty shops, restaurants, and banquet facilities. In 2014, the Terrapin Explorer Ropes Course opened for children ages 5-9, including 24 different elements that you can walk, balance, swing, zip, and crawl through. It includes two zip lines, two levels, and a 20 ft. high rock wall.This is an adrenalizing and challenging experience. Participants begin at the lower level and work their way up to some hair-raising course elements at up to 40 feet above ground. The course is guided and includes a continuous cable and belay system that provides safety. You can choose to do the whole course or just parts of it.
