Taste of Wheaton 2016 - A Maryland Food Festival

Downtown Wheaton hosts the Taste of Wheaton, an annual food festival offering samples from local restaurants,cooking demonstrations, a craft beer garden, live musical performances and kids activities. Tastings range from $1 to $5. All of the proceeds benefit the Mid-County United Ministries food pantry in Wheaton, Maryland. Attendees who bring canned food donations will be eligible for a variety of fun giveaway items.

Live music and entertainment will round out the event with performances to be announced.

Children’s activities include caricature drawings, balloon artists, and arts and crafts.

June 5, 2016, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

Grandview Avenue and Reedie Drive, Downtown Wheaton, Maryland

The Wheaton Metro Station is located one-half block south of the event. Grandview Avenue and parking lot 13 in the Wheaton Triangle will be closed during the event. Free parking will be available at the Wheaton Metro garage on Veirs Mill Road and at the County garage at Amherst Avenue and Reedie Drive.
