At a Taste of Georgetown, approximately 35 of Washington, DC’s most distinguished restaurants serve sample portions of their signature dishes. The food festival includes 90s cover band White Ford Bronco, craft beer and wine and a variety of entertainment for all ages. The region's hottest chefs will face off, testing their culinary skill during the Georgetown Chef Showdown, judged by DC's top food experts and media.
The judges will taste all 70+ dishes and judge them based on categories such as "Best use of Seasonal Ingredients", "Best Overall Dish" and "Best Way to Satiate a Sweet Tooth". Proceeds from a Taste of Georgetown will benefit the homeless outreach providing psychiatrist care, shelter and meals through the Georgetown Ministry Center.
