At a Taste of Georgetown, approximately 35 of Washington, D.C.’s most distinguished restaurants serve sample portions of their signature dishes. The food festival includes 90s cover band White Ford Bronco, craft beer and wine and a variety of entertainment for all ages. The region's hottest chefs will face off, testing their culinary skill during the Georgetown Chef Showdown, judged by DC's top food experts and media. The judges will taste all 70+ dishes and judge them based on categories such as "Best use of Seasonal Ingredients", "Best Overall Dish" and "Best Way to Satiate a Sweet Tooth".
Proceeds from a Taste of Georgetown will benefit the homeless outreach providing psychiatrist care, shelter and meals through the Georgetown Ministry Center.

Getting to Georgetown
Georgetown is located in Washington, DC north of the Potomac River just across the Francis Scott Key Bridge. The main thoroughfares are M Street and Wisconsin Avenue. The neighborhood extends from Georgetown University to the west to Rock Creek Parkway to the east to Montrose Park and Oak Hill Cemetery to the north. See a Map
Georgetown is not accessible by Metrorail. Avoid parking and traffic by taking the DC Circulator Bus using the Georgetown/Union Station or new Rosslyn/Georgetown/Dupont Circle lines. If you choose to drive, there are several parking lots in Georgetown.

Each tasting is $5 or purchase five tastings for $20 (in advance). Craft Beer and Wine Garden tickets are $10 for three (in advance only), and $4 for one tasting (in advance or onsite).

The pavilion will offer several unique brews such as Brooklyn Brewery's Summer Ale, Leinenkugel's Summer, New Belgium Brewing's Fat Tire and Rolle Bolle and Starr Hill's the Love. Not to ignore wine enthusiasts, the pavilion will offer several wines for guests to enjoy while relaxing at one of the pavilion's café tables. Beverages tickets are $10 for 3, and $4 for 1 tasting.
