Taste of Bethesda 2017

A Food and Music Festival in Bethesda, Maryland

© Bethesda Urban Partnership

At the annual Taste of Bethesda, you’ll get to sample the foods of more than 50 restaurants, enjoy five stages of live entertainment and visit the kids’ corner for arts & crafts, face painting and balloons. Downtown Bethesda restaurants prepare massive amounts of food and baked goods for the festival. For instance, Hard Times Café prepares 20 gallons of chili and 200 pounds of French fries; Haagen-Dazs goes through more than 60 gallons of ice cream; Mamma Lucia serves over 800 slices of pizza; and Spring Mill Bread Company serves 1,000 slices of apple pies, brownies, cookies and breads.

As downtown Bethesda continues to grow, several new restaurants will be debuting at Taste of Bethesda this year: Community, George’s Chophouse, Medium Rare and TapaBar. Returning favorites such as Georgetown Cupcake, Jaleo, Louisiana Kitchen & Bayou Bar, Mussel Bar, Olazzo, Ruth’s Chris and many more will also be in attendance this year.
