Tacoma Events Calendar - November 2016

Thanksgiving dinner
Copyright Tyler Love

November in Tacoma is filled with events. Where in past years, Art at Work used to fill many weekends of the month (it has moved to October), there are still plenty of shows and concerts to keep you busy.

The second half of November is when the holidays take over (at least officially…they’ve likely been popping into the stores since sometime in September). On the fourth Thursday of the month, Thanksgiving is a holiday with friends and family for many, but also a popular day to go out to eat. The day after Thanksgiving is Black Friday, but also the day that many of the holiday lights displays in the area open to the public.

Tacoma is big on Small Business Saturday, which is two days after Thanksgiving. Head to Proctor, the Antique District downtown or other small-business hubs and support local business owners.
