Storybook Forest at Arcadia Lake

In Short:

Children can meet characters from their favorite fables each year at Storybook Forest, a "not-so-scary" event that is one of the top Halloween happenings in the Oklahoma City metro area. Designed for children 10 and under, in full costume if they so choose, Storybook Forest takes place over a week in late October and features a tree-lined trail where kids collect candy and visit scenes from classic tales such as the "Three Little Pigs" and "Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater."

2015 Date and Time:

In 2015, Storybook Forest begins on October 23rd and runs through the 30th. It will not be open on Halloween this year. Activities last from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. each night.

Storybook Forest admission is $8 per child. Call (405) 216-7471 to purchase advanced tickets at only $6. Parents are admitted free with the purchase of a child ticket. Hot dogs and marshmallows for roasting as well as hot chocolate cost extra.

Storybook Forest is held east of Edmond at Arcadia Lake's Spring Creek Park. Go two and half miles east of I-35 on 15th Street.
