Sports Camps in Washington DC and the Region

Sports camps offer kids the opportunity to try something new or to hone their skills during the summer months. Many programs are held indoors and give campers a break from the heat and humidity.     College Park, MD
    Ages: 3-18. Camps are available for a range of levels from those just starting out their tennis career to the more seasoned tournament player.  Optional care is offered in the mornings and afternoons. College Park Tennis Center has 15 indoor and 15 outdoor courts.

     RFK Stadium, Washington DC.
    Ages: 5-16.  Each session is designed around a specific topic geared to improve each player’s technical ability and fundamental skills.There are Striker and Goalkeeper Camps that focus on specific skills. All participants will receive an official D.C. United camp ball, an official camp t-shirt, a ticket voucher to a D.C. United regular season home match and discount offers on United ticket packages.

    Sterling, VA
    Ages: 6-14. The air-conditioned indoor sports facility in Northern Virginia offers soccer, basketball and multi-sports summer camps. The SportsPlex also offers leagues for kids and adults.

    Ages: 6-16. The premier indoor rock climbing gyms are among the largest in the nation. No experience is necessary. Indoor and outdoor experiences are available.

    Ages: 4-16. The camp specializes in Tae Kwon Do training. All levels have fun learning and playing together in a safe, supportive atmosphere. Additional activities include swimming, games and arts & crafts.

    Ages: 6-16. The private school runs a comprehensive summer camp and sports programs geared towards developing athletes. They offer individual attention, skill development, and a top-notch team of coaches. Programs include Boys Lacrosse Camp, Baseball Camp, Boys Basketball Camp, Boys Soccer Camp, Girls Soccer Camp, Wrestling Camp, Football Camp 7-7, Girls Basketball Camp, Girls Field Hockey Camp, Girls Lacrosse, and Golf Camp.

    Ages: 5-14.  Weekly multisport, baseball, field hockey and football camps are available. The multisport camp allows campers to explore different sports and activities with experienced and caring coaches and counselors.

    Ages 5-13. The sports complex offers Fun for All, All for Fun Sports Camp, Mighty Mites Mini Camp, Basketball Camps, Soccer Camps, Soccer & Tennis Camps, and Dual Sports Camp (basketball and football).

    Ages: 5-13. The Washington Nationals offers the ultimate Major League Experience with one-week sessions including top-notch baseball instruction combined with unforgettable moments such as meeting a current Nationals player and touring the field at Nationals Park.

    Ages: 5-13. The camp offers 10 week-long sessions. Campers ride twice each day and enjoy arts & crafts, games and grooming & horse care.  Afternoon activities are held in an air-conditioned facility.

    Ages: 6-14. The air-conditioned indoor sports facility offers soccer, basketball and multi-sports summer camps. The SportsPlex also offers leagues for kids and adults.

    Ages: 6-15. The camp was established in 1996 as Takoma Park Babe Ruth Baseball camp and has expanded to include sessions for basketball and softball. Five one-week sessions are currently available.

    Ages: 5-12. Camps focus on developing Taekwondo skills. Field trips include performances, movies, crafts, and sports.

    Ages: 4-14. Boys an Girls Day camps. Boys camp activities include nature studies, canoeing, and kayaking, rock climbing, swimming, gymnastics, soccer, archery, and air rifle.     Ages: 5 and up. Sports camps focus on a wide range of activities from archery to flag football to lacrosse to volleyball. YMCAs offer an extensive selection of recreational programs for all ages.
