Splash Cincinnati is a medium-sized indoor waterpark themed to 1930's-era Key West. It used to be part of the CoCo Key Water Resort chain, but is now operated independently.
Compared to larger parks, such as the Kalahari in Sandusky, it comes up short in thrill rides or marquee attractions like water coasters, surfing simulators, and bowl rides. Splash Cincinnati does feature two body slides and two raft slides (which each accommodate 2-person rafts), a lazy river, and an indoor/outdoor spa.
For smaller visitors, the park offers the Parrot's Perch, an interactive water play center with small slides and a tipping bucket. The area for younger children also has a shallow pool with an overhead screen that displays a constant stream of movies and cartoons. (Whether anybody is paying any attention to the on-screen fare amid all of the park's mayhem is questionable.) In addition to the indoor water park, CoCo Key includes a video arcade and party rooms.
The hotel offers 257 guest rooms, meeting facilities, function rooms, a fitness room, and a restaurant.
