Culinary Festival, Tucson, Arizona

The Tucson Culinary Festival was established in 2002 by the Tucson Originals (Tucson's leading group of independent restaurants). The festival celebrates the culinary flavors and treasures of Tucson that help give the "Old Pueblo" its sense of place. For 2007, Festivities will take place on Oct. 5th through 7th at the beautiful Loews Ventana Canyon Resort. The festival is preceded by a kick-off event at Cuvee World Bistro with the World Margarita Competition.

Bison Round-up, Antelope Island Park, Utah

An annual event to gather the bison off the range and haze them to the corrals on the north end of the island. Horse riders will have two and a half days to haze the bison northward. The public can view the progress of the riders from the eastside road leading to the Fielding Garr Ranch house. Helicopters will be used to gather any stragglers and to complete the roundup.

Nevada Day Celebration - Carson City, Nevada

Nevadans love a parade and what better way to celebrate our heritage! Each October, Nevadans turn their attention to Carson City, Nevada's state capital, home of the Nevada Day Parade. This is an annual coming together to celebrate Nevada's heritage and the founding of this great state! Great American Beer Festival - Denver, CO

Denver hosts the Great American Beer Festival, the brewing industry's most prestigious event of the year -- the "Super Bowl" of beer. More than 30,000 beer-lovers are expected at the event, taking place in October at the Colorado Convention Center
