The 400 Mile Sale

First held in 2004 and growing in popularity ever since, the 4-day 400 Mile Sale takes place each year during early June, usually beginning on the Thursday before the first weekend in June. The sale route follows a recently designated Scenic Byway along Highway 68 (and Route 80), which travels through the rolling hills of Kentucky's picturesque Bluegrass region, where there are many historic sites, beautiful horse farms and unique small towns. In addition to the hundreds of yard sales, antique shops and food vendors, an array of special events take place along the way to add to the fun.
