The Environmental Education Center at Veterans Oasis Park in Chandler, Arizona is the place on the third Thursday of the month for free, musical entertainment. The Sonoran Sunset Series provides an opportunity for casual, family-friendly relaxation and fun where local bands and musicians have an opportunity to showcase their talents.
Bring folding chairs or a blanket or simply sit on the concrete walls of this intimate amphitheater overlooking the lake at Veterans Oasis Park.
It isn't unusual for one or two hundred people to show up for this event! Is the weather looking threatening? No problem -- they'll move the concert inside.
Light refreshments are available for purchase. Patrons may bring their own food or snacks to the park.
During October and December you can expect a holiday theme to the program.
