It takes a good chunk of time, but it's a great way to see celebrities up close, and it's free. Read about how to get tickets and what to expect when attending a TV show taping. 02 of 10 Big Name Concerts in Los Angeles Kayte Deioma There are dozens of concert venues in Los Angeles and Orange Counties that host big-name performers from pop to country to hip-hop to punk. During the summer months, the Greek Theatre, the Hollywood Bowl, Irvine Meadows Verizon Amphitheatre and Pacific Amphitheatre host major outdoor concerts. The Microsoft Theatre and the Wiltern, as well as various sports arenas, are popular indoor venues. Most big name artist concert tickets are available through Ticketmaster.
