Brooklyn is known to have some of the best indie shopping in the city. It's home to the Brooklyn Flea, the famous artisanal and vintage flea market, and a plethora of funky shopping districts. But sometimes you want to find your favorite national food chain or big box store so downtown Brooklyn on Atlantic Avenue is where you'll find some great shopping at the Atlantic Terminal Mall and the co-located Atlantic Center Mall. The department and specialty stores, government services, restaurants, and food vendors located within the two-mall complex make for convenient one-stop shopping.
You'll find the malls on Atlantic Avenue in the Fort Green district, considered part of downtown Brooklyn. The five-floor Atlantic Terminal is located across the street from the three-floor Atlantic Center Mall—the two are connected by a pedestrian bridge.
For access via public transit, most Brooklyn subway trains and the Long Island Railroad stop at Atlantic Terminal. For those driving, there are two floors of underground parking at the Atlantic Center Mall.
