Sergio's offers some of the best Cuban food this side of the Florida Straits! Originally founded as a sandwich stand on SW 40th Street, Sergio's now boasts four locations throughout Miami and a lengthy menu full of Cuban specialties. The hours vary by location, but they're generally open before you wake up (6AM at most locations) and closed after you hit the sack (midnight on weekdays).
Two locations offer 24-hour service on weekends, fueling the late night crowd with Cafe Cubano and delicious pastries.

If you're a breakfast buff, you can't find a better deal in town. Sergio's famous El Mezclado ($2.99) is a tasty mixture of scrambled eggs and diced ham that comes with a side order of Cuban toast and coffee. Other popular morning items include omelettes ($4.29), pancakes ($1.99) and fried eggs with bacon or ham ($2.99).

Any other time of day, your best bet is one of the 20 sandwiches on their menu. The buzz around town is that Sergio's makes the best Cuban sandwich ($4.99) in Miami. You'll also find other popular Cuban dishes like the Palomilla 8oz grilled steak ($6.99), chicken on the grill ($6.99) and Cuban-style chicken fajitas ($7.49).

Be sure to save some room for a traditional Cuban dessert. The Tres Leches or "Three Milks" ($2.65) combines pound cake, condensed milk and whipped cream to deliver a delicious (if unhealthy!) treat.
You'll also find flan ($2.25), rice pudding ($2.25) and good old fashioned ice cream ($2.25) to satisfy your sweet tooth.

If you've never been to Sergio's, it's definitely worth a stop. If you've been there before, branch out and try a new menu item on your next visit -- you'll be pleasantly surprised.
Take a few minutes to read the menu carefully -- their creative use of Spanglish is definitely good for a few chuckles!
