    What: Convention and Association for fans of Anime, Music, Manga, and Japanese Pop Culture. Japanese Guests, Voice Actors, Cosplay, Manga/Comic Artists, Dealer Room, 24hr Video Theaters, J-Pop, Gaming, Arcade, Art Show & Auction, Panel Discussions, Autograph Sessions, Film/Video Premiers, and much more.

    What: Bedford Blues & BBQ Fest includes great blues from Kenny Wayne Sheppard, Texas Cotton Kings, Keb Mo and more. Part of the fun is naming your BBQ team.

    The AAAE is a free festival featuring a classic, custom, and hot rod car and motorcycle show on the Denton County Courthouse-on-the-Square located at 110 W. Hickory Street. Check out the dream machines lining the square, find that one-of-a-kind piece of art, have family heirlooms appraised and attend informative workshops on tips and tools for collecting and antiquing, enjoy kids games, and live entertainment.     What: It's the 26th anniversary of Grapefest! People's Choice Wine Tasting Classic, Carnival and Midway, Arts & Crafts Booths, Mini Train, Texas Wine Tribute, KidZone, Food booths and more. I attended Grapefest in 2011 and it was a lot of fun. I enjoyed visiting with winemakers and tasting the fruits of their labor. My daughter enjoyed the festival food and carnival rides. The weather was perfect! You must be 21 to consume alcohol but it's totally a family event.

    When: September 13-16, 2012.

    BrewFest is th perfect place to sample beer and enjoy great food. Tickets are on sale now. Ticket is good for 12 – 2 oz. beer samplings, with additional sampling cards available for purchase for $2 at the event. General Admission: $30/VIP Admission: $60. VIP Tickets include 12-2 oz. beer samplings from 150+ beer options plus early entry into event (one hour earlier), access to VIP Area with liquor sampling and exclusive catered food.     Join some of the best names in national, regional and local music scene at the Fort Worth Music Fest Sept. 28-29, 2012. Held on the tree lined lawn of the Will Rogers Memorial Center, the Festival is a celebration of Fort Worth’s rich and diverse musical heritage. It's two days of non-stop music featuring 20 acts on 2 stages, cooking classes by area chefs, artworks for sale by area artists and groovy gear by local vendors make up the 2012 Fort Worth Music Festival. Doors open at 3 p.m. on Friday and 1 p.m. on Saturday. Zombie's Food Truck will be in attendance. Will you?

    VIP and Reserved Table Seating tickets available. General Admission tickets $5 will be available at the gate day of show. Children under 12 free.

    Sept 29: Chocolate Festival

    It's time for the 3rd annual DallasChocolate.org Chocolate Conference & Festival 2012 on Saturday, September 29, 2012, in Addison. Chocoholics are invited to attend. The event has two main components, the Festival and Conference, that take place in adjoining rooms of the Addison Conference Centre. The Festival is a room of wall to wall chocolate where you will meet and sample chocolates from participating chocolatiers and chocolate makers. In the Conference area, brush up on your chocolate knowledge and enjoy classes throughout the day about the making, use, and history of fine chocolate. This event begins with the Chocolatierʼs Roundtable -- an open discussion with all participating local chocolatiers. Both the Conference & Festival are included in the price of admission.
