Las Vegas is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. Once a haven for gamblers and hard-partying visitors, the area has become more family-friendly in recent years. Baseball games, art and culture festivals, and free concerts at Fremont Street are just a few of the activities families can enjoy in September in Las Vegas.
Las Vegas 51s Baseball
The Las Vegas 51s bring professional Triple-A baseball to town every summer. This New York Mets affiliate, part of the Pacific Coast League, plays at Cashman Field from April through September.
The team's name comes from Area 51, the informal name of a classified military facility near Edwards Air Force Base right outside Las Vegas. Area 51 has long been rumored to be the site of some extraterrestrial activity in the 1950s, hence the team's gray-headed alien mascot Cosmo.
Las Vegas Greek Food Festival

Summer Concert Series on Fremont Street
