We may have the world's biggest Hard Rock Cafe and Hotel here in Orlando at Universal's CityWalk, but you can't gamble there. For that same famous, fun, rock-oriented experience with a gigantic casino thrown into the mix, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Tampa is only about an hour and a half away.
Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Casino
The 24-hour casino operates on the Tampa Reservation, one of six Seminole Indian reservations operated by the Seminole Tribe of Florida. At over 190,000 square feet, Hard Rock's Tampa casino is the largest in the state, fourth largest in the U.S., and one of the biggest in the world. Guests can try their luck at more than 5,000 slot machines, 110 table games, 50 poker tables in the non-smoking poker room, and electronic craps and roulette machines. More private high-limits gaming is also available with special amenities.
Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Hotel
Stay at the luxury AAA Four-Diamond hotel if you're making a getaway of your trip to Tampa (or if you've had a bit too much to drink). All rooms and suites include free Wi-Fi, high-definition flat-screen televisions, double vanity sinks, well-stocked mini-bars, safes, Keurigs with complimentary coffee and tea, and round-the-clock guest services. Pet-friendly rooms are available. Visit the website or call to find room information and prices.
Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Amenities
A number of amenities round out the experience for visitors. The pool (which has underwater speakers) and cabanas are open to hotel guests from 9:00 am to 7:30 pm. Private, furnished poolside Seminole Indian-inspired chickie huts are available to rent, and they come with televisions, refrigerators, water, and snacks. The on-site Rock Spa of Florida offers a full array of spa services for pampering. In addition, multiple bars, lounges and entertainment venues on the property host all sorts of live music, comedy and other shows. Check the online events calendar.
Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Dining
From casual, quick bites to fine dining, there's something for every mood and taste around the hotel and casino. Of course, there's the Hard Rock Cafe itself, a great stop for burgers and other classic American fare. Various eateries at The Food Court offer faster, more casual options, as does Rise Kitchen and Bakery. For East Asian cuisine, try Rock 'N Raw Sushi and Raw Bar or Noodle Bar at Jubao Place. Council Oak Steaks and Seafood is a great spot for an elegant meal and friendly, attentive service surrounded by upscale décor.
