Where to See Dinner Shows in Seattle

Have a Fun Night on the Town

Triple Door Seattle

Seattle has a fantastic nightlife scene that includes a bit of everything, from crazy nightclubs to ritzy restaurants to comedy clubs to live theater. But for something a little different, dinner shows might just do the trick.

Dinner show venues will treat you to a meal while you listen to live music or take in an acrobatic performance or maybe even a cabaret show. There may be nothing finer for date night material - the perfect marriage of dinner and theater - but it's also a great night out for a bachelorette party or night on the town with friends.

Where to See a Dinner Show in Seattle

Teatro Zinzanni

Located on the edge of Seattle Center, Teatro Zinzanni is unlike any other nightlife venue in Seattle. If you want to treat your special someone to a big night out, make reservations here. A three-hour cirque, comedy and cabaret show unfolds before your eyes while you eat a five-course meal. The shows rotate every few months, so if you've been before, don't count on seeing the exact same show if you return. Likewise, the menus for each show change often and take advantage of what's seasonal. The result is a pretty unique night out that's a hit with just about everyone. Tickets aren't cheap, though, so Teatro Zinzanni is more in the neighborhood of special occasion fare.

The Triple Door

Located right downstairs from Wild Ginger restaurant, The Triple Door combines fine dining and live performances and music under one roof. The Triple Door is a popular music destination offering 300 seats with free-standing tables and chairs so you can sway along to the music, or scoot closer if you're out for a night of romance. There's also a lounge with live music, so take your pick of what's on for the night. Bonus: the food at the venue is delicious Thai food so you can't go wrong.

The Can Can

Looking for something that combines comedy, some sexy sizzle, dance and delicious food? The Can Can is your place. This cabaret is located underneath Pike Place Market, making it central for residents and appealing to visitors. Bonus - many of the ingredients on the menu are from the market, adding some lovely local appeal. The venue is close-knit and intimate, and shows feature plenty of interaction with the audience. At any given time, there are a number of shows on, including brunch shows if you're not so much for late-night entertainment.

The Pink Door

If you like your Italian food with a side of live entertainment, The Pink Door serves up just that. Shows range from cabaret and burlesque on Saturday nights, to jazz, to a tarot reader who wanders among the tables. The atmosphere is dimly lit and romantic, too, making this dinner and a show one of the best for a date night.

Dimitriou's Jazz Alley

Whether you're a jazz afficianado or whether you're looking for dinner and a show that is more focused on music than on performance, Dimitriou's is one of Seattle's longest running dinner shows. The venue's name says it all - expect live jazz on stage. The menu is a little more eclectic with Northwest-inspired cuisine (as in, lots of seafood), steaks, salads and more. You don't have to have dinner at the club, but only if you have dinner with your show can you reserve the very best tables.

Location: 2033 6th Avenue, Seattle

If you're in the South Sound area seeking dinner and a show, Tacoma's jazz hotspot opens at 5 p.m. for happy hour with dinner beginning right after until 11 p.m. The cuisine includes bar food as well as a sushi menu on some nights. Music and performers include jazz (of course) as well as comedy and other local performers. Check the schedule online to see who's on when.

Piano Bars

Piano bars can be a fun night out, especially if you bring some dollars along to tip the players and see if you can get them to play your song! There are several in Seattle and Tacoma to choose from, and most feature dueling pianos.
