Hilton Head is without doubt one of the nation’s foremost golf destination. With literally dozens of courses and resorts to choose from in the Greater Hilton area, it easy to become spoiled for choice, and let’s face it, golf, no matter where you play, is never cheap, and that’s why I spend a lot of my time trying to value for money to pass on to you guys. So, as I said, Hilton Head is a premier golf destination. The Sea Pines Resort is THE premier venue in that particular part of the country. How do I know?
I’ve visited the property a half-dozen times over the years I’ve been writing golf for About.com and I’ve never had a less than enjoyable visit. That being so, here’s what I have for you this time:
The Sea Pines Resort at Hilton Head has just announced a trio of value-packed getaways for the late summer and fall. These great escapes all come with access to a plethora of world-class amenities.
First, The Inn & Club at Harbour Town – the resort’s award-winning 60-room boutique hotel – offers the “Extended Stay Four Night Special.” This package features 15% off the best available rate and a $50 resort credit redeemable for golf, dining and activities. It also includes complimentary, daily transportation to the oceanfront Sea Pines Beach Club, valet parking, adult bikes (with reduced rates on children's bikes), two hours of court time at The Sea Pines Racquet Club, and full access to the Inn’s luxurious pool.
Yep, this is a good one.
Next, we have the “Extended Stay Three Night Special.” This package features a 10% discount off stays at The Inn & Club at Harbour Town as well as all the above extras including the $50 resort credit. Both offers feature unlimited use of the resort’s fitness center and free wireless internet service. The Inn & Club’s numerous accolades include a No. 1 ranking on TripAdvisor and addition to the Condé Nast Johansens collection
And third, starting at $159 per night for four nights in a deluxe two-bedroom villa, the Endless Summer Vacation Special is highlighted by a savings of up to 15% off select villas and rental homes through September 9 (three- to six-night stays). This is a family-friendly package that features one complimentary portrait session on the beach by the certified professionals at Memory Lane Portraits ($125 value) in addition to a 15% discount on a la carte portrait orders. Free wireless internet, two hours of complimentary tennis per day at The Sea Pines Racquet Club and preferred rates at The Sea Pines Resort's outstanding golf courses, including famed Harbour Town Golf Links, are also included.
“Our array of packages are perfect for stress-free getaways with all the amenities one would expect at a world-class destination,” says John Munro, Vice President of Hospitality, Sales and Marketing. “Our guests know that when they are here all they have to do is relax and enjoy their stay while we take care of all the rest.
