September 2015 marks the date for the second Scottsdale Spice Culinary Event. Participating chefs will create their culinary masterpieces in three heat levels: mild, medium and hot. Festival attendees will cast votes for their favorites in each category including Booth Décor, Spiciest Dish, Best Dessert and Most Authentically Arizonan.
This is one of many culinary events that take place in Phoenix/Scottsdale throughout the year.
When is Scottsdale Spice Culinary Event?

Where is it?
Venue of Scottsdale, 7117 E. Third Avenue in Scottsdale.
How do I get tickets and how much are they?
General admission is $TBA per person (plus online service charge). That includes:
- unlimited food samplings from participating restaurants (while supplies last)
- seven drink tickets good for wine, craft beer and spirits. Each ticket is good for one drink sample.
- a souvenir glass
Tickets may be purchased online or at the door, subject to availability.
What else should I know?
Ages 21+ only admitted.
This event takes place indoors.
Each participating chef will showcase their dishes in four heat levels: mild, medium, hot and nuclear. Each participating chef will submit one dish for the World Chef Challenge competition. That dish will be scored by a panel of media, chef and celebrity judges. Patrons attending the event will get to cast a vote for their favorite dish. The winning chef will receive a “Golden Ticket,” and will advance to the next competition round at the World Chef Challenge in Florida.
