Well traveled and trilingual in English, Hebrew, and Farsi, Liss started her career in journalism in the Middle East, where she was a reporter for the Associated Press's Jerusalem bureau and Time Out Istanbul.
Sara graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University in New York City with a bachelor's degree in literature.
