·       Sadie has written for Adventure Travel Magazine, New Zealand Herald, Culture Trip, The Times, The Daily Telegraph, The Independent, the Daily Mail, and the Mail on Sunday.

·       She is a member of the storied The Explorers Club and was an awardee of one of their student scholarship programs, which saw her travel to the remote reaches of Sable Island in Nova Scotia.

·       She holds a Guinness World Record for the highest dinner party which was held at 7,056m on the North Col of Mount Everest.

·       Other mountaineering feats include a winter climb of Mount Washington, Mount Elbrus, Mount Blanc, Mount Meru in Tanzania, and an attempt of Aconcagua.

Sadie is a freelance journalist specializing in hiking, mountaineering, adventure travel-related content, and gear reviews. She has been to more than 60 countries with her preference for the more remote corners of the map. Some of her favorite adventures have taken place in locations including Papua New Guinea, Antarctica, Mongolia, Guyana, and Armenia. While venturing through the desert, jungle, or polar regions she loves putting gear to the test, finding the small details that make a big difference.

Experience

Sadie has been a journalist for more than 15 years and started specializing in adventure travel in 2014. She specializes in hiking and mountaineering but is not scared of taking on a challenge and tackling other adventure sports from paragliding to cage diving with great white sharks. Some of her feats include the grueling Haute Route cycling challenge in Oman, crossing the South Atlantic on the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race, completing The World’s Toughest Mudder 24-hour desert race, and the New York City Marathon.

Education

Sadie earned her BA (Honors) in journalism and psychology from City University London and her postgraduate in International Business after spending a year living in New York through a study program run by St Mary’s University London in collaboration with the Mountbatten Institute.
