This list presents the top RV parks and campgrounds in the Reno/Sparks area. Listed are some of the features you'll find at each facility, but be sure to check out the park's website for any other amenities and services you may need. Many offer discounts for things like RV club, AARP, and/or AAA memberships. For those coming to the many big events in the Reno and Sparks area, these RV parks make great places to stay while enjoying the fun and beauty to be found in northern Nevada.

    Bonanza Terrace RV Park is just north of downtown Reno and across the street from the Bonanza Casino. There is easy access to just about anything you might want to do around the area. Nightly, weekly, and monthly rates are available. Pets welcome with breed restrictions. Amenities include free Wi - Fi, cable TV, laundry, restrooms, and showers.

    Travelers headed south on U.S. 395 come to Bordertown Casino & RV Resort as soon as they cross the Nevada state line. This area is known as Cold Springs Valley and is about a 15-minute drive further south to Reno and Sparks. All sites are paved and pets are welcome. Amenities include free Wi - Fi, cable TV, propane, laundry, restrooms and showers, hot tub, recreation room, and nearby gas station, casino, restaurant, golf, and hiking trails.

    The Grand Sierra Resort RV Park is adjacent to one of Reno's largest hotel casino complexes. RVers have access to all the amenities at the resort (casino, restaurants, shows, shopping, recreation facilities, etc.). The RV park is next to the Truckee River walking and biking path. Other amenities include laundry facilities, restrooms, and showers. Pets are welcome.

    Keystone RV Park is located near major roadways just west of downtown Reno. It's a good location for attending many of Reno's annual big events. Amenities include free Wi - Fi, cable TV, laundry, restrooms and showers, and easy access to all city services. Pets are welcome.

    This KOA is RVs only. It is west of downtown Reno just off I80, next to the Boomtown Casino Hotel and overlooking the Truckee River. Guests have access to the casino, shops, restaurants, and fun center. There is a fuel station with gas, diesel, and propane. The big Cabelas sporting goods store is nearby. Other amenities include free Wi - Fi, cable TV, restrooms and showers, swimming pool, spa, and sauna, mini-golf, and 24 - hour security. Pets are welcome and there is a walking area.

    Rivers Edge RV Park

    Rivers Edge RV Park is just that, right next to the Truckee River and Rock Park in Sparks. Rock Park has shaded picnic areas, a whitewater park, and walking/biking paths along the river. Daily, weekly, and monthly rates are available. Amenities include a clubhouse, seasonal pool, Wi - Fi and cable TV, restrooms with showers, laundry facilities, and pet walk.

    Note: Rivers Edge RV Park is located near the north end of the main runways at Reno - Tahoe International Airport. Jets approaching for a landing pass right over the park and they aren't very high. If you don't know this, the first time it happens can be quite startling. I know this because I stayed here while looking for a house after first moving to Reno.

    Silver Sage RV Park

    Silver Sage RV Park is tucked in among surrounding businesses and across Virginia Street from the Peppermill Hotel Casino. Because of its central location, you can walk to restaurants, theaters, bars, and casinos. For things a bit further away, RTC public transit buses make regular runs up and down Virginia Street and all around the Truckee Meadows. Silver Sage RV Park is gated, so unwanted traffic cannot just cruise through. Amenities include free Wi - Fi, cable TV, restrooms and showers, picnic and BBQ areas, and laundry. Pets welcome with breed restrictions.

    As the name implies, Sparks Marina RV Park is located near the recreational opportunities available at Sparks Marina Park. It is also close to the shopping center at the Outlets at Sparks Marina. The grounds are fully paved with concrete RV parking pads and grassy plots in between. Both back - in and pull - through sites are available. Rates vary by season, so call ahead if you need to know the nightly and weekly rates. Pets are welcome, but they must be on a leash at all times and there are breed restrictions. Amenities include a clubhouse, free Wi - Fi, restrooms with showers, putting green, laundry, and store, swimming pool and hot tub, propane, and more.

The park is just off the major area surface street, McCarran Boulevard, and within easy access of Sparks Marina Park, Victorian Square, and lots of restaurants, bars, and shopping.
