TripSavvy's editorial guidelines Updated on 09/17/19 Seattle is a city known for its rain, and yet it doesn’t rain for much of the summer (and, if we’re lucky, the spring or fall). When Seattle is beautiful and sunny, residents and visitors head outdoors en masse to enjoy the stunning weather, whether for a hike in the mountains or simply sitting outdoors. If you’re of the latter ilk, Seattle’s rooftop bars and restaurants may just be the places for you. Whether you’re looking for a rooftop bar or restaurant to have a drink with friends, eat a fine meal, or party, Seattle has an option. While Seattle doesn’t have an expansive list of rooftop restaurants, there are far more restaurants with a view to check out! 01 of 03 Hard Rock Café Courtesy of Hard Rock Cafe View Map Address 116 Pike St, Seattle, WA 98101, USA Get directions Phone +1 206-204-2233 Web Visit website Best Rooftop For: Relaxing The Hard Rock Café has three stories of restaurant and bar space inside, and a great rooftop bar on top called the Terrace. The view overlooks Pike Place Market and Elliott Bay, special since rooftop views of the water are all too infrequent at area restaurants and bars. Seats are situated around fire pits, but there’s plenty of standing room as well. Kick back with a drink near the fire or lean against the balcony edge and watch shoppers at the Market below. It’s a great spot to enjoy the best of Seattle on a nice afternoon or evening. The patio offers opportunities to play shuffleboard or ping pong, or just have a seat and relax.
