One of the interesting aspects about Flight Restaurant and Wine Bar is diners don’t have to settle on one menu item. Diners can choose one entree-size portion of an item, such as veal, Gulf red snapper or quail and dumplings. But the restaurant is best enjoyed when ordering a flight of three small plates. You can go with fish, steak, feathered or seafood, or choose an item from three different categories. The restaurant also has one of the city’s best wine selections, and wines are offered in flights as well.

Felicia Willett has brought her Arkansas roots with New Orleans style to Felicia Suzanne’s, one of the top romantic restaurants in Downtown Memphis. The old building with giant ceilings is a big part of the romantic feel. But Felicia Suzanne’s oyster dishes and other Southern delicacies, not to mention desserts and wine selections, make this a top choice for a romantic night out in Downtown Memphis.

Chez Phillipe

Possibly the only French restaurant in the world not to serve duck thanks to its location at The Peabody Memphis hotel, Chez Phillipe is the city’s grand French restaurant. This spot is a little more upscale, but worth it for those looking for the white tablecloth treatment.
